Who Needs a License
Any person who engages in the business of plumbing in Deerfield Beach must hold a current, active license. Under Florida Statute § 489.105, plumbing is defined as work involving the installation, maintenance, or repair of pipes, fixtures, and appliances for the supply and distribution of water; the collection and removal of waterborne waste; medical gas piping; and related systems in buildings and structures.
