Sec. 10.109. - Travel expenses designated for City Council Members to Florida Association of Counties, Florida League of Cities, National Association of Counties and National League of Cities.

The annual General Fund/General Services District budget includes funding for City Memberships. Annually funds shall be budgeted for Council President designated Council representatives to travel to attend conferences for Florida Association of Counties, Florida League of Cities, National Association of Counties and National League of Cities. Funding in the amount of ten percent of the overall membership dues or $20,000, whichever is greater, shall be included in the annual General Fund/General Services District budget. Travel is subject to approval by the Council President pursuant to Council Rules as is noted in Chapter 106 , Part 7, Ordinance Code. (Ord. 2017-97-E , § 3)
