Sec. 111.185. - Cecil Gymnasium and Fitness Center Capital Improvement Trust Fund.

There is created the Cecil Gymnasium and Fitness Center Capital Improvement Trust Fund, a permanent, ongoing trust fund of the City, which shall carry forward each fiscal year. The fund is authorized to accept gifts, fees, and other donations. Monies deposited in the fund, together with any interest accrued thereon, shall carry over fiscal years to be used for the purposes described herein, and shall be expended only for the specific purpose of financing capital improvements to, and exercise equipment for the Cecil Gymnasium and Fitness Center. Funds utilized for the purchase of exercise equipment are hereby appropriated without the need for further action by Council, and the Director of Finance and Administration, or his/her designee, is authorized and directed to make disbursements from the fund upon written requisition of the Director of Recreation and Parks, accompanied by written approval from Cecil Gymnasium and Fitness Center's District Council Member. Subject to appropriation by the Council, the Director of Finance and Administration is authorized and directed to make disbursements from the Fund for other capital improvements upon the written direction of the Director of Recreation and Parks. No later than June 30 annually, the Director of Recreation and Community Services shall provide a report of receipts and disbursements to the Cecil Gymnasium and Fitness Center's District Council Member, copy to the Council Auditor.
