Sec. 111.190. - Communication Tower Special Revenue Fund.

Section: 111.190.

There is created the Communication Tower Special Revenue Fund, hereinafter called the Fund, a permanent, ongoing special revenue fund of the City, which shall carry forward each fiscal year. The Fund is authorized to receive revenue from leases of and co-location payments from communication towers located on City real property. All such revenue received by the City, or by the Tax Collector, shall be deposited into the Fund, for use toward providing an enhanced level of maintenance and capital improvements for recreational purposes in City owned parks. The Communication Tower Special Revenue Fund shall account separately for each Council district. All revenues, interest, and expenditures shall be accounted for separately within the Fund and shall be administered by the Director of Finance and Administration. All sums placed into the Fund are hereby appropriated for distribution in accordance with the appropriate provisions of Chapter 126 , Ordinance Code. Any undistributed funds shall not lapse at the close of any fiscal year, but instead shall carry over to the next fiscal year. The Director of Finance and Administration, or his or her designee, is authorized and directed to make disbursements from the Fund upon written requisition of the Director of Recreation and Community Services and the respective Council Members, subject to the availability of funds in the Fund.
