Sec. 111.220. - Mayor's Commission on the Status of Women Trust Fund.

There is created within the General Trust and Agency Fund a trust fund account to be known as the Mayor's Commission on the Status of Women Trust Fund, hereinafter called the Fund. The Mayor's Commission on the Status of Women, hereinafter called the Commission, created by Executive Order No. 82-46, shall deposit into the fund all donations and contributions of money, including gifts and grants, it receives for its use toward attaining its purposes, functions and goals. All these donations and contributions, as well as the Commission's expenditures and cash balances, shall be accounted for separately within the fund by the Commission. All sums placed into the fund by the Commission are hereby appropriated to the Commission for its use toward attaining its purpose, functions and goals and shall not lapse at the close of any fiscal year, but instead shall carry over to the next fiscal year. The Director of Finance and Administration, or his designee, is authorized and directed to make disbursements from the fund upon written requisition of the chairperson, or her designee, subject to the availability of funds in the fund. Nothing in this Section shall prohibit or otherwise limit any appropriations which may be made by Council to the Commission for use toward attaining its purposes, functions and goals. Notwithstanding the foregoing, no City funds shall be appropriated to this Trust Fund without prior approval by the City Council.
