Sec. 111.260. - Jacksonville Human Rights Commission Fair Housing Assistance Program Trust Fund.

There is hereby created within the General Trust and Agency Fund a trust fund account to be known as the Jacksonville Human Rights Commission Fair Housing Assistance Program Trust Fund (the "Fund"). The City and the Jacksonville Human Rights Commission shall deposit into the Fund all contributions of money, including grants or other payments, received from U.S. Department of Health and Urban Development's ("HUD") Fair Housing Assistance Program for use toward financing the fair housing activities of the Jacksonville Human Rights Commission. All sums placed into the Fund, together with any interest accrued thereon, are hereby appropriated for the benefit of the Jacksonville Human Rights Commission's fair housing assistance activities, and such appropriations shall not lapse at the close of any fiscal year but shall carry over to the next fiscal year. Such funds as are deposited into this trust account are to be self-appropriating when used for the purpose of financing the fair housing assistance activities of the Jacksonville Human Rights Commission as outlined in Section 60.105 , Ordinance Code. The Director of Finance and Administration, or their designee, is authorized and directed to make disbursements from the Fund upon written request of the Executive Director of the Jacksonville Human Rights Commission, or their designee. (Ord. 2022-161-E , § 3) Editor's note— Ord. 2021-850-E , § 3, amended the Code by repealing former § 111.260, which pertained to the Fire Watch—Northeast Florida Veterans' Suicide Prevention Agency Fund, and derived from Ord. 2019-701-E. Subsequently, Ord. 2022-161-E , § 3, added a new § 111.260.
