Sec. 111.275. - Jacksonville Veterans and Military Family Community Center and Facilities Special Revenue Fund.

There is hereby created the Jacksonville Veterans and Military Family Community Center and Facilities Special Revenue Fund (the "Fund"), a permanent special revenue fund of the City, into which shall be deposited all donations, gifts, grants, fees, transfers and funds as may be from time to time received by the City for the purpose of designing, planning, constructing, maintaining, operating, staffing and equipping a Jacksonville Veterans and Military Family Community Center and other similar veterans facilities. The sums placed into the Fund, together with any interest accrued thereon, are hereby appropriated for purposes described in this Section, and such appropriations shall not lapse at the close of any fiscal year but shall carry over to the next fiscal year. The Director of the Finance Department is authorized and directed to make disbursements from the Fund upon the written request of the Director of the Military Affairs and Veterans Department, subject to availability of funds from the Fund, however, any single expenditure from this Fund in excess of $100,000 shall require prior Council approval. No later than June 30 annually, the Director of the Military Affairs and Veterans Department shall provide a report of receipts and disbursements to the City Council. (Ord. 2025-463-E , § 1)
