Sec. 111.305. - Sheriff's Confidential Vehicle Maintenance Fund.

There is created the Sheriff's Vehicle Maintenance Fund , a permanent revolving fund which shall be a continuing appropriation notwithstanding budget years, to be utilized for the acquisition and maintenance of vehicles forfeited to the Office of the Sheriff under the provisions of the Florida Contraband Forfeiture Act, F.S. § 932.703, or any applicable future State law. The Director of Finance and Administration is authorized and directed to establish procedures for the making of disbursements from this account upon the written request and requisition of the Sheriff or his designee. All sums collected as a result of settlements made pursuant to cases prosecuted under the Florida Contraband Forfeiture Act or any applicable future State law, with interest thereon, if any, shall be immediately credited to the fund hereby established and shall be used for no other purpose than is stated in this Section. The Sheriff's Confidential Vehicle Maintenance Fund shall be subject to review and audit by the Council Auditor.
