Sec. 111.325. - Police Athletic League Trust Fund.

Section: 111.325.

There is created the Police Athletic League (PAL) Trust Fund, a permanent, ongoing trust fund of the City, which shall carry forward each fiscal year. The fund is authorized to accept gifts, fees (including but not limited to up to $1 per hour in police secondary employment fees chargeable to employers other than the City, SMG or any Consolidated Government agencies) and other donations designated to PAL. Any such gifts, fees, or contributions received by the Sheriff or by the Tax Collector shall be deposited into the fund, for use toward achieving the purposes, functions and goals of the Police Athletic League. All such fees, donations and contributions shall be accounted for separately within the fund and shall be administered by the Sheriff. All sums placed into the fund are hereby appropriated for distribution to the Police Athletic League in accordance with the appropriate provisions of Chapter 118 , Ordinance Code. Any undistributed funds shall not lapse at the close of any fiscal year, but instead shall carry over to the next fiscal year. The Director of Finance and Administration, or his or her designee, is authorized and directed to make disbursements from the fund upon written requisition of the Sheriff, or his or her designee, subject to the availability of funds in the fund.
