Sec. 111.355. - Fire-Safety Program Trust Fund.

There is hereby created and established a Fire-Safety Program Trust Fund into which shall be deposited and from which shall be expended all donations of money made for the general purpose of preventing and reducing residential fire deaths, injuries and property loss through inspections, education and smoke detection devices as provided in Section 420.116 , Ordinance Code. All funds deposited to such Fund shall be the subject of a permanent and continuing appropriation which shall carry forward from year-to-year notwithstanding budget years. The Director of Finance and Administration is authorized to make disbursements from this Fund upon written requisition of the Director of Fire and Rescue, or his designee, for equipment, materials, supplies, personnel, education, training, promotion, publicity and travel for reviewing and gathering information from similar or related programs.
