Sec. 111.550. - Sidewalk Construction Special Revenue Fund.

There is hereby created and established a Sidewalk Construction Special Revenue Fund into which shall be deposited and from which shall be expended all payments in lieu of construction approved pursuant to the Land Development Procedures Manual or donations, including gifts and grants received by the City for use in furthering the goals of this fund, as well as all funds as may be appropriated from time to time by Council, for the general purpose of capital costs related to the construction of sidewalks throughout the City, as described in Chapter 654 , Part 1, Ordinance Code. All funds deposited into this Special Revenue Fund, which shall include all interest earned or accrued, shall be the subject of a permanent and continuing appropriation that shall carry forward from year-to-year notwithstanding budget years. Private donations to the special revenue fund may be dedicated for the benefit of a specific neighborhood or location. The Director of Finance and Administration is authorized to make disbursements from this Special Revenue Fund upon written request of the Director of Public Works in accordance with Chapter 654 , Ordinance Code.
