Sec. 111.820. - Mayor's Hispanic American Advisory Board Trust Fund.

There is created within the General Trust and Agency Fund a trust fund account to be known as the Mayor's Hispanic American Advisory Board Trust Fund, hereinafter called the Fund. The Mayor's Hispanic American Advisory Board, hereinafter called the Board, created by Executive Order No. 98-215, as amended, shall deposit into the fund all donations and contributions of money, including gifts and grants, it receives for its use toward awarding educational scholarships based on policies set by the Board and to further the goals and objectives of the Advisory Board. All sums placed into the fund which shall include all interest earned or accrued thereon, are hereby appropriated and shall carry over fiscal years to be used for the purposes described herein. The Director of Finance and Administration, or his/her designee, is authorized and directed to make disbursements from the fund upon written requisition of the chairperson, or his/her designee, subject to the availability of funds in the fund. Nothing in this Section shall prohibit or otherwise limit any appropriations which may be made by Council to the Commission for use toward attaining its purposes, functions and goals.
