Sec. 111.925. - Neighborhood Enhancement Trust Fund.

(a) Pari-mutuel. There is created within the General Trust and Agency Fund, a trust fund account to be known as the Neighborhood Enhancement Trust Fund - Pari-mutuel (the "Fund"), into which shall be deposited all gifts, donations, contributions, grants, State funds received from Card Room pari-mutuel wagering Trust Fund revenues pursuant to F.S. § 849.086(13)(h), and other sums of money to be used to provide funding for capital improvements including but not limited to park improvement, road or landscaping improvements within a five-mile area from which a pari-mutuel establishment is located. All sums placed into the Fund, which shall include all interest earned or accrued thereon, shall not lapse at the close of any fiscal year, but instead shall carryover to the next fiscal year. (b) Mission Springs Apartments. There is created within the General Trust and Agency Fund, a trust fund account to be known as the Neighborhood Enhancement Trust Fund - Mission Springs Apartments (the "Fund"), into which shall be deposited all gifts, donations, contributions, grants, payments in lieu of taxes received from Mission Springs Apartments, located at 5327 Timuquana Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32210, and other sums of money to be used to provide funding for capital improvements including but not limited to park improvement, road or landscaping improvements within a 4 mile area from which the multi-family housing establishment is located. Ordinance 2017-162-E defines the sums to be received by the City. All sums placed into the Fund, which shall include all interest earned or accrued thereon, shall not lapse at the close of any fiscal year, but instead shall carryover to the next fiscal year.
