Sec. 111.935. - Un-Signalized Intersection Crossing (Crosswalk) Trust Fund.

There is hereby created and established an Un-Signalized Intersection Crossing (Crosswalk) Trust Fund into which shall be deposited and from which shall be expended all donations and contributions of money, including gifts and grants received by the City for use in furthering the goals of this fund, as well as all funds as may be appropriated from time to time by Council, for the general purpose of funding costs associated with the installation, marking, signage and/or devices necessary for a crosswalk installation as described in Chapter 804 , Part 8, Ordinance Code. All funds deposited into this Trust Fund, which shall include all interest earned or accrued, shall be the subject of a permanent and continuing appropriation that shall carry forward from year-to-year notwithstanding budget years. Private donations to the trust fund may be dedicated for the benefit of a specific crosswalk. The Director of Finance and Administration is authorized to make disbursements from this Trust Fund upon written request of the Director of Public Works in accordance with Chapter 804 , Ordinance Code.
