Sec. 113.103. - Recognition.

It is the policy of the City to nurture and welcome major donations to the City that can be used to subsidize the various City activities and divisions, so as to permit ad valorem revenue to be utilized in some other fashion such as to provide enhanced services, or so as to limit the City's reliance upon fees. Therefore, it is the policy of the City to appropriately recognize major donors and to allow said donors to "adopt" or "sponsor" such activities and divisions as is reasonable and practicable.
