Sec. 116.1501. - Definitions.

The following definitions of employment status are hereby established: (a) Regular Full-time. A budget allocated position requiring 40 hours of work per week on a regular and recurring basis. (b) Temporary Full-time. A full-time temporary position required for less than six months on a special assignment or to replace an employee on leave. (c) Regular Part-time. A position routinely requiring fewer than 25 hours of work per week (50 hours per pay period) on a regular and recurring basis. (d) Seasonal. A position routinely requiring full-time or part-time work for a limited time not to exceed six-months, during specified times of the year. (Ord. 2005-338-E, § 1)
