Sec. 122.441. - Unused parcels of land acquired for public works projects.

The Finance and Administration Department may sell unused parcels of land acquired for public works projects, which have an appraised value of $5,000 or less, to the property owner or owners adjacent to the unused parcels for the appraised value of the parcel or parcels. The proceeds from the sales of the unused parcels shall be credited to the Jacksonville Recreational Land Acquisition Capital Projects Fund as established in Section 111.130 . The Mayor and Corporation Secretary are authorized to execute and deliver all documents necessary to convey such unused parcels to the adjacent property owners who purchase the parcels. The unused parcels that are not sold to adjacent property owners, shall be sold in accordance with Subpart B of Part 4, Chapter 122 , Ordinance Code.
