Sec. 122.511. - Appointment and powers of airport police.

The City hereby exercises its authority to appoint airport police officers with full police powers within the jurisdiction of the Jacksonville International, Craig and Herlong Airport properties, in accordance with F.S. § 332.08(2)(a). Airport police officers appointed hereunder shall meet the qualifications specified in F.S. §§ 943.13 and 943.14 and shall be governed by other State laws pertaining to law enforcement officers as necessary and applicable to the operation of Jacksonville International, Craig and Herlong Airports.
