Sec. 122.803. - Deletion of unaccountable items of tangible personal property from property records; Council action.

Section: 122.803.

Annually, the Director of Finance and Administration shall, pursuant to authority granted by resolution of the Council, delete from the tangible personal property records of the City items of property: (a) For which there is an entry in the property records, but which have been verified as not being owned by the City. (b) Which have been reported as missing or stolen. The Director of Finance and Administration shall provide to the Council, in his request for authority to delete items, a listing of the items sought to be deleted, which shall state for each item: (a) Its last known location, as indicated on the property records. (b) Its description. (c) The property number assigned to it. (d) The unit of government to which it was last assigned. (e) Its original cost. (f) Accumulated depreciation, if any.
