Sec. 122.822. - Penalty.

An accountable officer or custodian who violates a provision of this Part shall be guilty of a class C offense. Upon conviction, the accountable officer shall be relieved of his accountability for tangible personal property in his unit of government (which accountability shall be assigned to another accountable officer). Upon conviction, a custodian shall be relieved of his responsibility for tangible personal property in his custody.
