Sec. 168.111. - Alarm User Awareness Class.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office supports the development of an Alarm User Awareness Class administered by local contract alarm companies. The class shall inform Alarm Users of the problems created by false alarms and instruct alarm users how to help reduce false alarms. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office may grant the option of attending a class, once every 24 months, in lieu of paying one assessed fine, not to exceed $100. (Ord. 2016-562-E , § 2)
