Sec. 180.104. - Funding of JUMP.

For projects located outside of the geographical boundaries of an established Community Redevelopment Area, as defined by F.S. § 163.340, the City shall designate funding equal to one percent of the approved economic development agreement Incentives approved during a calendar year for inclusion in the next annual budget. This funding may come from General Fund revenues or other designated funds. The complete first year of funding for this Chapter will be calendar year 2022. As an example, if the combined amount of economic development agreement Incentives approved by the City Council during the calendar year 2022 equaled $300,000,000, the fiscal year 2023/24 budget proposal shall include $3,000,000 of funding for JUMP.
