Sec. 22.102. - Office of the Director.

The Director of the Military Affairs and Veterans Department is the head of the Department, and shall be also known as the "Military Affairs and Veterans Officer." The Director shall be appointed by the Mayor, subject to confirmation by the Council, and shall serve at the pleasure of the Mayor. The Director shall have a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university and have at least five years of administrative experience in at least one of the areas of responsibility.
