Sec. 250.1008. - Liability and insurance.

Prior to any use of the public sidewalk, street, or other City property, the applicant shall provide certificates evidencing the following insurance to the Chief (which insurance certificates shall name the City of Jacksonville, its members, officials, officers, employees and agents as additional insureds on all policies, except workers' compensation, and the Chief shall review and secure the approval of same by City's Risk Management Division): (a) Commercial General Liability, including Premises, Personal Injury, Products and Completed Operations, Blanket Contractual Liability and Independent Contractors, at minimum limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence, $1,000,000 Personal Injury, $1,000,000 Products and Completed Operations, $2,000,000 aggregate (30-day cancellation notice); and (b) Liquor Liability (if applicable): $1,000,000 minimum limits per occurrence; and (c) Automobile Liability (if applicable) $500,000 per occurrence; and (d) In the event the applicant hires employees for the special event or is otherwise required to carry workers' compensation insurance, the applicant will provide evidence of workers' compensation insurance or exemption as required by Florida Workers Compensation Law as defined in F.S.
