Sec. 250.204. - Notice and inspection of auctions.

(a) No auctioneer shall conduct an auction without giving the Sheriff at least 12 hours' prior notice of the time and place of the auction, the auctioneer's name and the general character of the property to be auctioned. (b) The Sheriff may observe the conduct of auctions, examine the property to be auctioned, and prohibit all or a part of any auction until the requirements of this Part are met.
