Sec. 250.708. - Restrictions on methods of solicitation.

It shall be unlawful for a solicitor to do any of the following: (a) Falsely represent, directly or by implication, that the solicitor is acting on behalf of a governmental organization, a charitable organization or any person other than the person for whom the solicitor is actually acting. (b) Threaten, directly or by implication, that the information requested will be solicited from sources other than the interviewee if the interviewee does not provide the information. (c) Fail to identify herself or himself as a commercial or professional solicitor of that is how the solicitor is permitted. (Ord. 93-1761-1390, § 1)
