Sec. 250.904. - Permit required.

(a) Operating a sidewalk cafe on City sidewalks is unlawful without a permit. No person shall conduct a business as herein defined without first obtaining a permit from the public works Department, Building Inspection Division, and paying the fee therefor to the Tax Collector. (b) A permit for a sidewalk cafe shall be issued only to the owner of a validly licensed and operating restaurant who wishes to provide tables and chairs on the sidewalk adjacent to their restaurant.
