Sec. 28.102. - Director.

The Director of Parks, Recreation and Community Services is the head of the Department. The Director shall be appointed by the Mayor, subject to confirmation by the Council, and shall serve at the pleasure of the Mayor. The Director shall have a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in recreation management, sociology, psychology, public/business administration, management or similar field and at least five years of progressively responsible experience in a management or executive position.
