Sec. 31.801. - Board established; membership; appointment; removal.

There is hereby established the Jacksonville Fire Museum Advisory Board (hereinafter referred to as the Board ) within the Fire and Rescue Department. The Board shall consist of 12 members. There shall be five standing members: (a) The Director of Fire and Rescue; (b) The President of Local 122; (c) The Chairman of the Historic Preservation Commission of Jacksonville; (d) The President of the Jacksonville Historical Society; and (e) A member of the City Council designated by the Council President. In addition, there shall be seven appointed members who shall be appointed by the Mayor, subject to confirmation by the Council; provided, however, at no time shall there be more than four employees of the Fire Division on the Board (including the President of Local 122). Of the seven appointed members, four members shall receive two-year appointments and three members shall receive three-year appointments. Appointments to fill a vacancy occurring on the Board during a term shall be by appointment in the same manner as the original appointment for the remainder of the respective unexpired term.
