Sec. 320.703. - Enforcement.

The requirements of this Building Code shall be enforced as follows: (1) By the Municipal Code Enforcement Board or Special Magistrate pursuant to the authority granted by F.S. Ch. 162, Part I, and Ch. 91, Ordinance Code; (2) By citation for civil penalties pursuant to the authority granted by F.S. Ch. 162, Part II, and Ch. 609, Ordinance Code; (3) By issuance of a notice to appear in County Court pursuant to F.S. Section 162.23; (4) By an action for injunctive relief, civil penalties, or both, through a court of competent jurisdiction; and (5) Violators holding a contractor's certification or license shall in all instances be referred to the Construction Trades Qualifying Board, and/or the appropriate State licensing board, for further enforcement. A violation of this Chapter shall constitute a separate offense for each day it shall continue or recur. (Ord. 2004-429-E, § 16; Ord.
