Sec. 342.114. - Correction of errors in certificate-issuing process.

(a) If the Board determines that a contractor or craftsman certificate has been issued or is outstanding because of error of law or of fact or because of administrative error, the Board may revoke or correct the certificate after written notice to the certificate holder and a reasonable opportunity for him to be heard, but without charges, findings or other formal requirements. Failure to return a revoked certificate or to deliver a certificate for correction to the Board upon demand is an offense. (b) The Board may correct an error of law or fact or an administrative error which resulted in the denial of an application for a contractor or craftsman certificate.
