Sec. 37.106. - Department of Police Services.

Section: 37.106.

(a) There is established a Department of Police Services to provide central records, identification services, communications, civil process, budgeting and the administrative functions of the Sheriff's Office. (b) The Director of Police Services shall be the head of the Department of Police Services. He shall have a college degree or at least five years' experience and commensurate training. (c) The Department of Police Services shall be organized into the following divisions, each of which shall be headed by a division chief: (1) Support Services Division. (2) Budget Division. (3) Technology and Operational Support Division. The Sheriff shall specify the duties and responsibilities of each division and division chief.
