Sec. 382.603. - Definitions.

For purposes of this Part: (a) Residential solid waste shall have the same meaning as residential waste as contained in Section 382.102 (l), Ordinance Code. (b) Nonapproved commercial solid waste shall mean any solid waste which is generated by commercial establishments and which exceeds the volume limitations specified in Section 382.402 (a) and which has not been permitted by the Director of Solid Waste and Resource Management pursuant to Section 382.402 (c). (c) Nonapproved multifamily solid waste shall mean any solid waste generated from multifamily residences, which multifamily residences exceed the limitations specified in Section 382.402 (a), and which solid waste has not been permitted by the Director of Solid Waste and Resource Management pursuant to Section 382.402 (c). (d) Person has the meaning given to it in section 2.101 (g), Ordinance Code of the City of Jacksonville and in addition includes any officer, employee, agent, department or instrumentality of the Federal Government, any state, municipality, or political subdivision of the State, or of any foreign government.
