Sec. 60.102. - Organization of Commission.

(a) The chairperson and one or more vice-chairpersons of the Commission shall be elected annually by the members of the Commission from among their number. The officers shall have such duties and responsibilities as are assigned to them by the rules of the Commission. (b) The Executive Director of the Human Rights Commission shall serve as the Commission's chief administrative officer and shall be appointed by the Mayor, subject to confirmation by the City Council and shall serve at the pleasure of the Mayor. The Commission shall employ such persons as may be necessary to perform its functions, subject to the civil service laws of the City and to budgetary limitations. (Ord. 98-326-E, § 1)
