Sec. 606.701. - Purpose.

It is the purpose and intent of this Part to enable the Council to provide standards which will protect its citizen's health, safety and welfare and which will preserve peace and order by prohibiting loitering for the purpose of engaging in drug-related activities in a manner and under circumstances manifesting the purpose to engage in drug-related activities contrary to any provisions of F.S. § 893.13, as now enacted or hereafter amended or transferred. It is not the purpose and intent of the Council in enacting this Part to prohibit any conduct which is constitutionally protected. (Ord. 90-1054-482, § 1)
