Sec. 615.105. - Reserve docking for vessels at areas within designated City bulkheads, floating docks, the Southbank or Northbank Riverwalk leased by the City to private users.

(a) It shall be unlawful for any vessel or boat (other than those vessels or boats which are under a lease agreement with the City allowing them to dock at a City owned bulkhead, floating dock, the Northbank or Southbank Riverwalk) to dock within those areas at a City owned bulkhead, floating dock, the Northbank or Southbank Riverwalk that have been designated as reserved space by the Recreation and Parks Department. The appropriate department of the City responsible for such bulkhead, floating dock, the Southbank or Northbank Riverwalk, shall post signs at the reserved space boundaries which read: "RESERVED DOCKING FOR VESSELS UNDER DOCKING LEASE AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY ONLY. VESSELS IN VIOLATION ARE SUBJECT TO IMPOUNDMENT. $100 FINE. SECTION 615.103 MUNICIPAL CODE." (b) Any boat or vessel found to be in violation of subsection (a) of this Section may be immediately seized and impounded by the Sheriff, the Florida Marine Patrol, or the Florida Game and Freshwater Fish Commission, and shall be released to the owner or operator in accordance with the provisions of Sections 804.1105 through 804.1112 , regulating the release of impounded motor vehicles. (c) Violation of this Section shall constitute an offense against the City and shall be punishable by a fine of $100.
