Sec. 638.103. - Deputy official court reporters.

When, in the opinion of the Chief Judge, it is necessary to secure the services of a deputy official court reporter on an annual basis, he shall authorize the engagement of a deputy official court reporter as an independent contractor of the City. The Chief Judge shall fix the duties and compensation of each deputy official court reporter so engaged, within the authorized salary range and budgetary limitations.
