Sec. 638.202. - Duties of public court reporters.

Each public court reporter engaged by the City under Section 638.201 shall report the testimony and proceedings, including objections made or oral comments offered, of any meeting, session or public hearing of the City agency to which the reporter is assigned by the chief public court reporter. Upon the order of the City agency or upon the demand of any person who participated in the meeting, session or public hearing, the reporter shall furnish with reasonable diligence a typewritten transcript of the testimony and proceedings and shall receive therefor the fees specified in subsection 638.204 (b). When the transcript is ordered by the City agency, the fees shall be paid by that agency; and when the transcript is prepared at the demand of any other person, the fees shall be paid by that person.
