Sec. 652.606. - Certificate of Occupancy.

Prior to the final inspection and issuance of the Certificate of Occupancy for new construction or substantial improvement in coastal high hazard areas (Zone V) and Adjusted SFHAs, the permittee shall submit a signed, sealed certificate, separate from the submitted plans, from a registered professional engineer or architect, certifying that the building has been constructed in compliance with the requirements of the Florida Building Code. A Certificate of Occupancy will not be issued until this certification has been received and accepted by the Floodplain Administrator. (Ord. 2013-310-E, § 2)
