Sec. 656.1314. - Temporary election signs.

In addition to other allowed sign types including a free expression sign, one temporary election sign for each candidate and each ballot issue may be displayed on a private lot. An election sign may be displayed as an attached sign or as a freestanding sign. If displayed as a freestanding sign, these signs shall be set back from the right-of-way not less than ten feet. A temporary election sign shall be removed within seven calendar days following the election to which it pertains. (Ord. 2010-253-E, § 5)
