Sec. 664.302. - Authority to designate parks, etc.

The Division Chief, with the concurrence of the Director of Recreation and Parks, is authorized to designate parks and other recreational areas (hereinafter referred to collectively as parks ) under his control as eligible for inclusion in the program. To be eligible, a park shall meet the following requirements: (a) It shall be developed for use as a park before designation under this Part, but such development need not have been completed according to the master plan for the park. (b) It shall not be under a maintenance and care agreement entered into under this Part, unless the applicant intends to join with the existing Friends-of-the-Park organization in the maintenance and care of the park.
