Sec. 670.101. - Definitions.

In this Chapter, unless the context otherwise requires: (a) Abandoned property means wrecked or derelict personal property, including wrecked, inoperative or partially dismantled motor vehicles; trailers; boats; machinery; refrigerators, washing machines, stoves, hot water heaters and other household appliances; plumbing fixtures; and furniture. (b) Private property means real property not owned or used by a governmental body in the City but does not include a place licensed under Part 2, Chapter 185 and permitted under the Zoning Code to be used as junkyard. (c) Reserved. (d) Remove means to physically cover or take away, repair or restore to useful service an item of abandoned property, so that it no longer constitutes abandoned property as defined in subsection (a) of this Section.
