Sec. 711.317. - Grant procedure.

All franchise applications when filed shall be available for public inspection at the designated Director's office and at such other places designated by the Mayor. If a franchise is sought to be granted by ordinance, the ordinance adoption process set out by Council rules and by general law must be followed, including public notice and public hearings. The need for public hearings may be reduced or eliminated where the City Council provides a method of administrative approval for applications. (Ord. 2001-427-E, § 2)
