Sec. 772.336. - Water companies and sewage disposal companies.

(a) Every person engaged in the business of operating water companies with 25 or more customers or sewage disposal companies with 25 or more customers shall pay a license tax of $225 for each company so operated. (b) For the purpose of this Section, a person furnishing water or sewage disposal service through mains for profit shall be construed to be a water company or sewage disposal company. (c) Municipal corporations which own and operate their own water plants and sewage disposal system shall not be subject to the license tax imposed by this Section.
