Sec. 796.101. - Definition.

For the purposes of this Chapter, ship means a vessel longer than 100 feet in length which is primarily used for the transportation of goods or passengers and which is generally fitted to navigate on the high seas, but does not include those vessels that are anchored for repairs or being repaired at a shipyard.
