Sec. 804.202. - Duties of Sheriff's Office.

It shall be the duty of the Sheriff, with such aid as may be rendered by other members of his office, to enforce the provisions of this Chapter and the State vehicle laws applicable to traffic violations, to assist in the prosecution of persons charged with the violations, to investigate accidents, to cooperate with the City Traffic Engineer and other officials of the City in the administration of this Code and in developing ways and means to improve traffic conditions and to carry out those duties specially imposed by this Chapter and the traffic laws.
