Sec. 91.102. - Terms.

(a) Appointments to the Municipal Code Enforcement Board shall be for three-year staggered terms. Once appointed, the members of the Board shall continue in office until the expiration of their terms of office, or until they are reappointed and confirmed or until their successors have been appointed and confirmed. A member may be reappointed by the Mayor upon confirmation by the City Council. (b) Any member who fails to attend two of three successive meetings without cause and without prior approval of the chairman of the Board shall automatically forfeit his appointment and the City Council shall promptly fill such vacancy. Vacancies shall be filled by appointment by the Mayor and approval of the City Council for the respective unexpired term of office.
