Section 8. - Collection of charges.

If the fees, rentals, or other charges for the services and facilities of said solid waste disposal and resource recovery system are not paid when due, the city may cause such services and facilities to be discontinued and shut off as to any particular person until such fees, rentals, or other charges are fully paid. Such delinquent fees, rentals, or other charges, together with interest, penalties, charges for the shutting off and discontinuance and the restoration of such services or facilities, and reasonable attorneys' fees and other expenses may be recovered by the city by suit in a court of competent jurisdiction. The city may also enforce payments of such delinquent fees, rentals, or other charges by any other lawful method of enforcement.
