Notwithstanding the provision of the charter of the Consolidated City of Jacksonville and Duval County or the charter of the City of Atlantic Beach, the following described areas, known as "Johnson Island," the "Radio Station," "Dutton Island," and the "Marsh," are excluded from the territory of the Consolidated City of Jacksonville and are annexed to the City of Atlantic Beach: "All of the land starting at the southwest corner of the boundary of the City of Atlantic Beach, bound on the south by a line 16 feet north of Atlantic Boulevard measured at right angles from the center line, to the center line of the Intracoastal Waterway, then north on the center line of the Intracoastal Waterway to the northwest corner of Section 18, then east bounded by north line of Sections 18 and 40 to the existing boundary line of Atlantic Beach."
