Section 14. - Declaration of purposes.

The authority created by this act and the purposes which it is intended to serve is hereby found to be for a county and public purpose. The authority is a political subdivision of the State of Florida, local governmental body within the meaning of section 10(c)(2), Article VII of the State Constitution. Nothing in this act is intended to create an entity which is exempt from ad valorem taxation except as otherwise set forth by applicable law. (Laws of Fla., Ch. 2004-465, § 1)
